Every X webmaster has a dream of building their own site, but if you want to build it yourself, you must buy transcoding software, acquire video sources, purchase high-performance servers for transcoding, and buy a CDN. Not only is the cost high, but the technical threshold is also steep.
If you use foreign cloud storage, we only need to find video sources, upload the videos to the cloud storage, and then embed the code into our website to complete the process.
The advantage of this cloud storage is that by having others click and play the videos, the webmaster can earn advertising revenue. Moreover, there is no need to build a transcoding server, saving a lot of costs, and it can be relatively efficient to set up a self-built site.
The biggest drawback is that videos embedded from cloud storage will pop up 7-8 ads during playback, leading to a poor user experience, and SEO may also be affected. I currently do not have a good solution for this; if webmasters are interested, they can join our X webmaster group to research it together.
In the past few days, I have tested and filtered many cloud storage options, and finally, a few remain that I personally think are acceptable.

This cloud storage offers unlimited space, fast upload speeds, and basically transcoding in seconds after uploading. It comes with a player that is compatible with most WP themes, and it has both regular and premium accounts. The premium account costs $77.9 per year, and after activation, it offers ad-free usage, files that do not expire, a maximum single file size of 20G, and supports cryptocurrency payments. However, I found some comments online saying that even after upgrading to a premium account, there are still ads; I have not yet paid to test this.
The website is entirely in English, and to make it easier for everyone to view, I translated it into Chinese using a web translator. After uploading the video, select the video, click the "Export" button in the upper right corner, and a code box will appear.
You can see that a file provides download links, embed links, embed codes, a single image (a screenshot of the video at the beginning), and a launch screen (I cannot open this link to see what it is).
We only need to use the single image and embed code. Download the image and then copy the embed code.
Log in to your WordPress site, in the backend, select "Write Post" on the left side, switch from visual to text in the editor, paste the embed code you just copied, then upload a featured image and click publish.
After publishing, you will see the thumbnail. The WP theme I tested does not support vertical thumbnails on mobile, so it looks a bit strange.
Clicking into the article, you can see that the video is in portrait mode and can be played in full screen.

This cloud storage has a slow transcoding speed and offers services such as video downloads, code embedding, and video previews. It has unlimited upload space but will periodically delete inactive videos. When I tested it, the player size of this cloud storage was very strange; I don't know if it was a setting issue on my part, so webmasters can research it further.

This is a relatively new cloud storage service with good upload and transcoding speeds, but there are too many ads, and the pop-ups are overwhelming. The only highlight is that when I clicked on my own video, I surprisingly found that there was paid growth... Interested webmasters can research whether they can boost views to make money; if it works, remember to come back and take me along for the ride.
This cloud storage offers a lot of code options, and the thumbnail will take a screenshot of the video content, which is quite nice.
